What We Offer
At Learning with Dyslexia, we meet the unique needs of dyslexic learners using the Barton Reading and Spelling System. It is Orton-Gillingham-based and research-supported.
We also use My Multiplication Magic to help dyslexic learners utilize a dyslexic brain strength to learn the multiplication facts.
In addition to our programs, we partner with a local dyslexia center to offer diagnostic educational testing to identify dyslexia so that parents can then get the proper support for their dyslexic children.
Barton Reading and Spelling Program
The Barton Reading and Spelling Program is specifically designed to help students with dyslexia learn to read and spell using an explicit, multisensory, structured approach The Orton-Gillingham methodology used in this program is considered the gold standard for helping dyslexic learners achieve success in these areas.
Diagnostic Testing
It is important to have dyslexia diagnosed and documented so that students receive helpful accommodations in the classroom while going through remediation.
